Today the most exciting racing event,2012 NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 is held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Charlotte, N.C, gets underway Sunday and the race is going to be televised live on Fox. The start time for this race is 5:30 p.m. EST.. At 600 miles (960km) it's the longest race on the NASCAR Sprint Cup circuit. Not only that, it's run on a treacherous "D" shaped oval with a unique "quad oval" kink on the front straight. It was also very nearly the scene of Marcos Ambrose's first oval win.
